Transport of Sludge

Reliable transport of dewatered and dried sludge

In municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, but also in industrial processes, sludge is produced which is usually fed to one or more further treatment stages such as thickening, dewatering, drying and incineration.

Depending on the consistency of the sludge, which is mainly defined by the water content, different conveying technologies (pumps, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, ...) can be used.

Sludge Supply and Removal for Drying Plants

Sludge transport plays an important role in the planning and construction of sludge drying plants. On the one hand, the dewatered sewage sludge has to be brought into the dryer and on the other hand, the fully or partially dried sewage sludge has to be transported away from the dryer.
